Master Warrant Officer C.W. McDougall
Operations Master Warrant OfficerMWO McDougall joined the Canadian Armed Forces on 27 February 2002, completing basic training and battle school before arriving at the regiment 18 September 2002. He has been employed in every squadron throughout his career, having both tank and recce experience. He was employed as the Squadron Sergeant Major in D Squadron and was promoted to the rank of MWO 8 December 2021. He has deployed internationally 4 times during his career, Afghanistan with (TF 3-06 & TF 1-08) as a Tank loader in C/S 23B and 29B respectively. The training mission in Ukraine on OP UNIFIER from 4 Mar – Sep 17 as the LOE1 C Coy Ops WO. His most recent deployment was Op IMPACT 3 May – 22 Nov 22 as the JTF-I HQSM both in Kuwait and Jordan. Domestically, he has deployed numerous times on OP LENTUS throughout British Columbia and on OP PODIUM for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Whistler, BC. MWO McDougall’s medals received are the GCS-SWA+1 (Afghanistan), SSM-EXP (Ukraine), GSM-EXP (Kuwait), QDJM and CD. He was posted RSS to the British Columbia Dragoons (BCD) in Kelowna, BC from 2013 – 2015 as the Training / Transport Sergeant. Currently he is posted to Regimental Headquarters as the Operations Sergeant Major. MWO McDougall is married to his wife Diana since 2019 and living in Edmonton, with their dog Lily. They have two grown children, Jacob who lives in Port Coquitlam, BC and Jazmine who lives in Edmonton, AB. |
