Master Warrant Officer K.G. ChubackOperations Master Warrant OfficerMaster Warrant Officer Kyle Chuback joined the primary reserve in June 2002 as an Armoured Non-Commissioned Member as a part of the Queen’s York Rangers in Aurora, Ontario. In Dec 2004, MWO Chuback transferred to the Regular Force and attended DP1 as a Recruit School bypass. Arriving at the Regiment in August 2005, MWO Chuback was employed in B Squadron. MWO Chuback remained in B Squadron for 4 years, deploying as a Troop Leader’s Driver on TF AFGHANISTAN roto 2 and again deployed on roto 5, this time as the Gunner for 22C. In Jul 2009, MWO Chuback was posted to the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps School (RCACS) as a driver. He spent the next 5 years at the Armoured School working in various positions to include instructing and the Leopard 2 D&M Cell producing the first Leopard 2 D&M package for instructing in Canada. He finished his time at the RCACS as a Squadron Ops NCM prior to being posted back to Edmonton, AB in 2014. In 2014, MWO Chuback was back in B Squadron as 21B. He remained in the Squadron for 5 years fulfilling various positions, ultimately finishing his time there as 21A. In 2020 after a deployment as a Coy Ops WO on OP UNIFIER, MWO Chuback was posted to 408 THS as the Sqn Ops WO. Upon his return to the Regiment in Jul 2023 he was employed as the SQMS in A Squadron before moving to the HQ SQMS position where he deployed as 89D as part of Roughneck Coy on OP REASSURANCE 25-01. MWO Chuback was promoted in June 2025 and upon returning from deployment has been employed as the Regimental Operations Master Warrant Officer. MWO Chuback resides in Edmonton, AB with his wife Samantha, a schoolteacher. They have two daughters, Harper and Charlotte. |
