Master Warrant Officer (MWO) Conway Eady was born in St. Anthony, Newfoundland and grew up in L’Anse Au Loup Labrador. After graduating from High School in 2001, he enrolled in the CAF. Upon completion of battle school, he was posted to LdSH (RC) in 2002. Shortly after joining the unit he became a rifleman and was deployed as a part of JTF GRIZZLY. (G8 summit in Kananaskis). In 2003, he deployed to Bosnia where he worked in the SQ shop and played a lot of ball hockey. In 2007, he deployed on a 7 month tour to Afghanistan as a part of TF-107. After returning to Canada, he conducted additional pre-deployment training and deployed back on another 7 month tour to Afghanistan in 2008 as a part of TF-308. In 2009, MWO Eady was employed as the Regt Stables NCO for a year prior to joining C/S 60 for Op Podium in 2010 (Winter Olympics). In 2012, he became a member of 2 troop B sqn as the 21C. In 2013, he successfully completed a yearlong French course. He returned to the Regt in 2014 where he occupied the role of troop WO in B Sqn (23A) and it was the best job he ever had. In 2015, MWO Eady was posted to RCACS where he spent most of his time in the training area teaching. In 2017, he was posted to the Tactics School as the Operation Warrant Officer. After his 2 year stint at the Tactics School, he was posted back to the Regt as the Operations Warrant Officer where he deployed to Latvia with the Regt as the BG Ops WO. On his return from Latvia, he became the SQMS of HQ sqn until the summer of 2021, when he was appointment the Sergeant Major of A Sqn. MWO Eady is happily married to his wife, Zina and they have two amazing children together, Ethan and Brooklyn. MWO Eady enjoys spending quality time with his German Sheppard Rylee, camping with his family and cheering for the Maple Leafs. |
